Day trips are available on the Lower Deschutes for both wild "Redside" trout and steelhead. A Deschutes River day float is a great option for those looking to experience the Deschutes and don't have the time or resources to take on an overnight adventure. Basing out of our destination fly shop Deschutes River Fly Shop & Camp we focus on the upper reaches of the lower Deschutes and are the closest fly shop and guide service to the Warm Springs section of the Deschutes River!Putting in at the Warm Springs boat ramp, minutes from the fly shop, we float 10 miles into a rugged and scenic, boat in only section of the river, taking out at Trout Creek Recreational site.This section of the Deschutes offers some of the best trout fishing on the river and good steelhead fishing in the fall. And is the closest Deschutes River fishing to Bend and an easy drive from Portland!

Please Note: Per ODFW regulations, there is no angling from a boat on the Deschutes. All fishing is done from shore. The boats are used for transportation only. Please don't hesitate to ask if you any questions in regard to this regulation on the river.

What's Included
Half day trips include 4 hours of guided fishing, & equipment rentals.Full day trips include 8 hours of guided fishing, equipment rentals, and a lunch!
Camp trips include all food, camp equipment, and guide services!
What's Not
Boater passes, fishing licenses, steelhead tags, tribal permits, flies, shuttles for client vehicles (camp trips), alcoholic beverages, and guide gratuities are not included.Booking policy:
50% deposit required to secure dates at the time of booking. Deposits refunded for cancellation with a 30 day minimum advanced notice. Any deposits within 30 days are non-refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours of trip dates will be billed the total trip amount. Trips are ran rain or shine, River Borne Outfitters reserves the right to reschedule the trip because of adverse and/or unsafe weather or river conditions or because of any other unforeseen reasons.

A bucket list experience, and one of the most spectacular Deschutes River fly fishing adventures is a 3-5 day float in which you float, fish, and camp your way down over thirty miles of river. Luxurious camps are standard fair and the fishing, and scenery are incredible. Deschutes camp trips are available for both trout and steelhead!
